100% chardonnay, made using traditional methods, fermented in bottle and aged on yeast lees for five years and six months prior to disgorging in July 2025.

Vintage Notes

A warm, dry early season after good spring rains has resulted in excellent crops, delivered to the winery in near perfect harvesting conditions. Resulting wines display a freshness and vibrancy with strong varietal flavours.

The Real Review - 94pts

“A vigorous bead and mousse when poured. There’s some lifted and complex aromas of pastry, nougat, white stone fruit, jasmine and a pithy, citrus edge. The palate is fine, intense and focused, with stone fruit, grapefruit and tingly acidity all at play. Will benefit from cellaring.” – Aaron Brasher

Halliday Wine Companion - 97pts

“66 months on lees before being disgorged, and with six months on cork before being released. 4.5g/L dosage. A very bright green gold. Tiny, persistent bead. Discreet with aromas of fresh-out-of-the-oven baked apple, citrus scents and a gentle nuttiness. Gently caresses the palate, which is very even, chalky and long. Lovely wine from start to finish! Drink now and over the next four to six years.” – Philip Rich

The Wine Front - 93pts

“The quality and class of Oakridge Blanc de Blancs has been on the up and up over time and this is another excellent release. Bread, lemonade, blackcurrant bud, preserved lemon, sweet roasted nuts and grapefruit characters all combine into one, delicious, elegant whole. Lifted aromatics, sound length and a seamless palate are all hallmarks here.” – Campbell Mattinson
