Hay, bosc pears, tea cake, flint and light jasmine florals sit over a bed of citrus peel and green apple. The palate is direct; linear and refreshing. Straw, lemon and lime pith adding texture over pears and white flowers and bound by a tangy, saline line of acidity. Juicy and mouth-watering.
All grapes where whole bunch pressed directly a combination of stainless steel tanks and older French oak puncheons for natural fermentation and maturation before being blended. Bottling occurred after a single filtration.
A warm, dry early season after good spring rains has resulted in excellent crops and strong varietal flavours.
