Vibrant purple with a purple to red hue
Fresh and lifted fruit aromas of black current and blood plums are complimented by the hallmark violet floral note with bay leaf and hints of oak toast. A Classical and unmistakable Yarra Valley Cabernet.
The palate is medium bodied and vibrant with lashings of cassis and red currant fruit that flow deliciously through the mouth. Velvet tannins mingle with the bright yet soft acid line to complete the package. Oak all the while framing the work of art within.

A traditional winemaking approach was used to produce this wine – fermentation on skins with twice daily pump-overs for four weeks followed by a 15-month maturation in 225 litre French oak barrels.
A warm wet spring followed by dry summer and autumn period has delivered good crops in near ideal harvesting conditions.
"Held on skins for 4 weeks after fermentation before 18 months maturation in French oak. Bright crimson-purple, it is an elegant cabernet that has flourished in the warm vintage - the Upper Yarra sometimes poses challenges, but not here. The tannins are savoury and fine, adding to the quality of the wine."
