Oakridge is here to stay!
After stellar careers at Oakridge, Joint Executive Chefs Matt Stone and Jo Barrett feel it is time for a career change as a next step in continuing to pursue their ambition for local, sustainable and no waste food production. Matt and Jo’s legacy and style of food which they have created, has become the hallmark of the Oakridge restaurant.
In the meantime, we are pleased to announce that Aaron Brodie, our Head Chef of 4 years has been promoted to Executive Chef. Aaron and Oakridge’s kitchen and front of house teams will continue with the Oakridge style of food preparation, production and service and will add their own inspirations.
Owners Tony D’Aloisio and Ilana Atlas said, “ We have every confidence in Aaron and the depth of talent of our kitchen and restaurant teams to continue to provide first rate food offerings not only for the restaurant but for functions and family events and to complement tastings at our cellar door”

It has been a privilege to have Matt and Jo at Oakridge and while they will be missed, we understand their desire in these uncertain times, to move to the next stage of their careers and we wish them the very best.”
