The newly released 2017 864 Chardonnay, took home three trophies at the Langton’s Yarra Valley Wine Show Awards last Thursday night. This is an incredible achievement at one of Australia’s benchmark regional wine shows.
Winemaker Tim Perrin accepted the awards on the night, attributing the success to the incredible quality of fruit grown in one of the Yarra Valley’s greatest locations combined with a dedicated and engaged team of winegrower and makers. The 2017 vintage of the 864 Chardonnay has been heralded by Chief Winemaker David Bicknell as one of our best yet.
Langton’s describes the 2017 864 Chardonnay as a “…pristine, expressive and genre-leading Oakridge 864 Chardonnay [that] profoundly reflects the power of the Yarra Valley landscape and empathy of spirit”.
