2011 Over The Shoulder Pinot Grigio
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Very pale straw with white hues.
Nose: A fragrant opening of honeysuckle and lemon blossom followed by struck flint, pear-skin, thai-basil and lemon citrus.
Palate: Tasting reveals green melons and pears, citrus rind and more spicy, jasmine-florals, and a pure acid line with a crunchy, chalky finish. It is an effortless, almost ethereal, seamless package with interest, line and length.
Alcohol: 11.1% ALC/VOL.
Cellaring: Best enjoyed in its youth, however the closing seal of this bottle will allow the wine to develop further complexity over the next 2 years with careful cellaring.
