The Yarra Valley Bushfires
Oakridge would like to thank everyone for their generous support and well wishes over the past week in relation to the surrounding bushfires.
Fortunately, Oakridge is unscathed by the bushfires, all of our staff are unharmed and thankfully nobody has lost their home, although there were some close calls and anxious moments. Our thoughts are with all of those who have not been so lucky.
The good news is its business as usual. Our Cellar Door is open every day 10.00am – 5.00pm. Our restaurant will be closed Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 February, but will be back open from Thursday 19 February onwards, 11.00am – 3.00pm, serving Chef Ritchie Boucher’s menu of regional, seasonal delights. Our participation in The Age Good Food Guide Restaurant Express will go ahead, Saturday 7 – Monday 23 March. Please book ahead for this amazing lunch special: two courses, a glass of wine and coffee or tea for $35.00.
People keep asking us what they can do to help. The answer at the moment and for the future is to keep supporting the Yarra Valley, through buying Yarra Valley wine and enjoying the hospitality the region has to offer.
